How often do you ask yourself if you are enough?
How often do you answer ‘no’?
How often do you answer ‘yes’?
That answer is always ‘yes’. You are enough. Say it out loud to yourself. Say it again. Say it louder.
You are enough.
Not because of what you did or said
Or thought or bought
Or became or created.
But because you always were.
So often we think that we need to be doing more. More of whatever we feel we are lacking. But when we feel like we must do more, we start to believe that we have to do more because we are not doing enough. This is not true. Then, when we don’t achieve this mystical ‘more’, we feel inadequate and that we are fundamentally not enough. We start by thinking we aren’t DOING enough and eventually that we AREN’T enough. This is not true.
No one is perfect; our perfection can be found within our imperfections. No one has this crazy journey we call life figured out; we are all just making it up as we go along. No one is in control over you; in this moment, you have everything you need to fulfill your purpose.
Let’s accept that we are not perfect. We fail, we flail, we fall. Let’s accept that life is just one glorious mystery. We don’t need to understand it, we just need to embrace it. Let’s accept we are in control. At any moment, you have all that you need to achieve your goals.
You are enough. You are so enough. It is unbelievable how enough you are.
“I hope you know you’re capable + brave + significant. Even when it feels like you’re not.”
I am good enough. I am capable. I am important. I am worthy. I am loved. I am not alone.
